Review Guidelines
Honest, detailed reviews help fellow researchers make informed decisions. Follow these guidelines to write reviews that are helpful, trustworthy, and constructive.
What Makes a Great Review
The best reviews help others decide whether a vendor is right for their research needs.
- Be specific. Mention which products you purchased and describe the outcome of your research.
- Include a timeline. Note how long shipping took, response times for customer service, and your overall experience window.
- Describe packaging and presentation. Was the product well-packaged? Did it arrive in good condition?
- Mention lab results. If you tested purity or verified a certificate of analysis, share what you found.
- Be fair and balanced. Even positive reviews are more credible when they note areas for improvement.
Review Requirements
Every review must meet these minimum standards to be published.
| Rating | 1 to 5 stars (required) |
| Title | A concise summary of your experience (required) |
| Review Body | Detailed description of your experience (required, 50+ characters recommended) |
| Products | Tag the specific peptides you purchased (optional but encouraged) |
Verified Purchase Reviews
Reviews with the highest trust signals come through our verification process.
After completing a purchase, vendors can send you an invitation link via email. Reviews submitted through these tokenized links are automatically tagged with a Verified Purchase badge, confirming that the reviewer is a real customer.
Verified purchase reviews do not require account creation. You provide your name and email, and your review is linked to the original transaction. You can optionally create an account afterward to manage your reviews and build a trust profile.
Trust Scores
Every reviewer has a trust score that reflects their credibility on the platform.
Trust scores are calculated from multiple signals and help other researchers gauge the reliability of a review. Higher trust scores indicate more established, credible reviewers.
Prohibited Content
The following content will be removed and may result in account suspension.
- Fake reviews. Submitting reviews for products you did not purchase, or creating multiple accounts to inflate ratings.
- Spam and promotional content. Reviews that exist primarily to advertise products, services, or external links.
- Profanity and abusive language. Reviews must remain professional and respectful, even when describing negative experiences.
- Personal attacks. Targeting specific individuals by name, sharing private information, or making threats.
- Competitor defamation. Vendors posting negative reviews on competitor pages, or paying others to do so.
- Human consumption claims. All products on amino.reviews are for research purposes only. Reviews must not describe or imply human consumption.
Vendor Responses
Vendors who have claimed their page can respond publicly to reviews.
Vendor responses appear directly below the original review, fostering constructive dialogue. This allows vendors to address concerns, clarify misunderstandings, and demonstrate their commitment to customer satisfaction. Vendor responses are subject to the same content standards as reviews.
Moderation Process
Every review goes through a multi-step moderation pipeline before publication.
Automated screening. AI moderation analyzes review content for spam, profanity, suspicious patterns, and policy violations.
Flagged for review. Reviews flagged by AI or reported by users are placed in a moderation queue for human review.
Human decision. Admin moderators make the final approve or reject decision. We do not censor negative reviews unless they violate our content policies.
