Accessing Plugin Settings
Navigate to WooCommerce → amino.reviews in your WordPress admin sidebar. This is the central configuration page for the integration.
Configuration Options
API Key
Your amino.reviews vendor API key, which starts with amino_. This authenticates your store when sending invitations to the amino.reviews API. You can generate a key from your amino.reviews vendor dashboard under API Keys.
Delay Days
The number of days to wait after an order reaches the trigger status before sending the invitation email. The default is 7 days, which gives customers enough time to receive and evaluate their order before being asked to review.
Enabled
A simple toggle to turn automatic invitations on or off. When disabled, no new invitations will be scheduled, but previously scheduled invitations will still be sent when their delay period expires.
Order Statuses
Select which WooCommerce order statuses trigger an invitation. Common choices include:
- Completed — The most common trigger. The invitation is scheduled when you mark an order as complete.
- Processing — Use this if your fulfillment is fast and you mark orders complete much later.
- Delivered / Shipped — Available if you use a shipping plugin that adds these statuses.
Test Connection
Click this button at any time to verify that your API key is valid and your site can reach the amino.reviews servers. A success message confirms the connection is working.
Recommended Settings
- Set delay to 7 days after order completion — enough time for delivery and initial evaluation.
- Trigger on Completed status for the most reliable timing.
- If you ship internationally with longer delivery windows, consider increasing the delay to 10 or 14 days.
